Instructional Support
Do your students know how to find what they need in the library? Do they know how to use Google and Wikipedia as a starting point, not an ending point, for course assignments and research projects? Librarians are ready to help you improve your students’ information literacy skills and learning outcomes.
A librarian can:
- Prepare a customized Course Guide for your class
- Prepare in-person library instruction for assignments and research projects
- Assist you with developing assignments that improve students information literacy skills
To request assistance:
- Complete the Course Instruction Request (faculty) for course-related instruction
- Contact us at 487-2507 or instrlib-l@mtu.edu
- Note: Please allow a minimum of 14 days for instruction requests. Requests with less notice are welcome but may not be able to be accommodated.
