The Digital Commons

A service of the Van Pelt and Opie Library, Digital Commons@Michigan Tech is a digital institutional repository offering worldwide access to research, scholarship, campus publications, and other creative works by members of the Michigan Tech community. Digital Commons provides and preserves access to many types of documents and publications, from articles and reports, to books, journals, conference proceedings, and other creative works.

Experimental Education Environment (E3)

The Experimental Education Environment (E3) is a new space meant to support all Michigan Tech instructors’ experimentation with instructional designs, use of instructional technology or educational media and room or furniture arrangement. Instructors interested in using this space for formal instruction or informal student groups will receive support for their pedagogical ideas or designs from the Jackson Center for Teaching and Learning’s instructional designers, as well as technology support from IT’s Media Services.

The John Rovano Plaza

Thanks to the generous donation of Michigan Tech alumnus David Brule ('72) The café-adjacent John Rovano plaza offers a garden setting for reading, working, or just enjoying the beautiful UP summer and fall.
