Important Dates for Spring and Fall 2014
| January 2, 2014 This is the first day of airport pick-up service and is the earliest day international students may report to campus and move into the residence halls. Students who require temporary housing or those who have on campus housing contracts will be charged $20 per night until the official move-in date. Please complete the early arrival and late departure form. There will be no university meal services. Students will be required to make their own arrangements with area restaurants or grocery stores. | |

| January 10, 2014 Mandatory orientation sessions for new graduate students. NOTE: Individual programs may also require that you report for meetings or training. Please consult with your academic department for important dates. | |
| January 12, 2014 Mandatory new student orientation for new undergraduate, ESL, transfer and exchange students. | |
| January 12, 2014 Mandatory orientation session International Student Rights & Responsibilities. | |

Free Airport Pick-Up Service
The free airport pick-up service is from January 2 - 9, 2014. University representatives will be waiting for you at the airport in Hancock (airport code CMX). Students who arrive before or after these dates are responsible for securing their own transportation. Transportation is from the airport to campus only. If you require a representative from Michigan Tech to meet you at the airport, please send arrival dates by going to your MyMichiganTech account and click on Arrival Information Form. Students who need transportation to their off-campus houses should plan accordingly.
