Please note most of the costs listed are “up-front” meaning that at least one semester’s worth of tuition, fees, insurance, etc. will need to be paid at the start of your time at Michigan Technological University. You must make sure you have the resources necessary to pay these costs before you will be allowed to register for classes! Also if you are going to live off-campus you will most likely need to pay an amount equivalent to the first and last month’s rent prior to moving into your housing. Please be prepared!

Fees Subject to Change: Tuition and fees are based upon the costs for the 2009-2010 Academic Year and are subject to change based upon Michigan Tech Board of Control approval.

*Tuition costs are based on minimum full-time load of 12 credits. Actual tuition costs will depend on credit load per semester (tuition = $759 per credit, 3 credits = $2,277).

**Room and Board fees are based on double room in Wadsworth Hall and the 19-meal-per-week plan for 2 semesters.
