Typography
Use fonts that are compatible across browsers. For example, these font-families work well:
- sans-serif family—Arial, Verdana, Geneva, Helvetica, sans-serif;
- serif family—Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif;
- monospace family—Courier New, Courier, monospace;
Use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to format web pages. This stylesheet language defines the way a document looks (color, font style and size, and layout aspects). To learn more about CSS, see the W3 Schools website.
