If you asked a group of people familiar with Michigan Tech to describe the University, you would receive a variety of responses. However, one constant in our history has been our ability to respond to the needs of students, changes in the academy, and developments in society as a whole. As a result, we have become a more-complex institution over time, which makes our need to communicate a consistent image to the world more important than ever before.
This Guide was created to assist the campus community in producing communications to promote an identity that is consistent with both our history and our goals. By following these standards in our advertising endeavors, promotional products, publications, and electronic communications, we can strengthen the University as a whole. Consistency is critically important, and your cooperation is essential.
