Food Pantry

The Husky FAN Pantry is located in the lower level of the Hamar House Center for Diversity and Inclusion. It’s open 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays,  Wednesdays and Thursdays. Find more information about our pantry stocks and operation here.

Meal Swipes

Students in need can request meal swipes. The meal credits are transferred to their Michigan Tech IDs for use in any Michigan Tech dining hall.

Request Guest Meal Swipes

To be able to provide relief to as many students as possible, we limit swipe requests to five swipes per week, with no more than 25 per semester. Only one swipe may be used per day.

Emergency Meal Packs

If you need food now, please stop by the Public Safety office (the green building on MacInnes Drive) and request a meal pack. All requests are kept anonymous. Packs are small enough to fit in your backpack for privacy. Public Safety is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If it is after normal business hours, just pick up the telephone in the yellow box outside of the building to be immediately connected to someone inside.
