New Student Check-In for Fall 2009
When you arrive at Michigan Tech for Fall Semester, your first stop should be New Student Check-In. This is where you will receive your room keys, parking sticker (if applicable), and Orientation materials. The dates, times, and locations of check-in are below.

First-year student Orientation begins Sunday, August 26, with the University Welcome at 6:30 p.m. You are encouraged to arrive on Saturday, August 25, in order to have plenty of time to unpack, get settled, and meet your neighbors. Transfer Student Orientation is on Friday, August 28. Please visit the Orientation site for answers to your questions.
Returning Student Check-in
Your room will be ready at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, August 23. The first day of class is Monday, August 31 2009. The dates, times, and locations of check-in for all returning residents are below.

Spring & Summer Check-In
Residence Halls open for move-in at 12:00 p.m. the Saturday prior to the first day of class. Further check-in details will be included in your housing assignment letter.
International Student Check-In
If you are a new international student and need to arrive prior to the official residence hall opening date, you must let International Services and Programs know of your arrival date and time so Housing can plan to have your residence hall room prepared for your arrival.
