New Student Check-In for Fall 2012
When you arrive at Michigan Tech for the Fall Semester, your first stop should be New Student Check-In. This is where you will receive your room keys, and Orientation materials. The dates, times, and locations of check-in are below.

First-year student Orientation begins Sunday, August 26, with the University Welcome at 6:30pm. You are encouraged to arrive on Saturday, August 25, in order to have plenty of time to unpack, get settled, and meet your neighbors. Transfer Student Orientation is on Friday, August 31. Returning Student Check-in
Your room will be ready at 10:00am Saturday, August 25. The first day of class is Tuesday, September 4, 2012. The dates, times, and locations of check-in for all returning residents are below.

Spring & Summer Check-In
Residence Halls open for move-in at noon the Saturday prior to the first day of class. Further check-in details will be included in your housing assignment letter.
International Student Check-In
If you are a new international student and need to arrive prior to the official residence hall opening date, you must let International Programs and Services know of your arrival date and time so Housing can plan to have your residence hall room prepared for your arrival.
