First-Year Experience Learning Community

If you choose to be a participant in the First-Year Experience (FYE) Learning Community at Michigan Tech, you will live with other first-year students in a coed and alcohol-free living environment located on the fifth floor of East Wadsworth Hall.  Several upper-level students will serve as resident assistants, program coordinators, and mentors on your floor, ensuring that you learn your way around campus, get involved, make friends, and get help with any academic challenges.  FYE will help make your transition to life as a college student easier by building character and integrity.  It is a community that supports one another mentally, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually.

To join the First-Year Experience learning community, simply apply through your housing application.
