Class of '09 Program Overview
The Class Tribute Gift Program offers you the opportunity to give a public thank-you to someone who has helped you with your Michigan Tech education. Maybe it's Mom and Dad, a favorite professor, your advisor, or your best friend.
With your gift of $20.09, your chosen person(s) will be sent a certificate of gratitude. In addition, you will be given the opportunity to be videotaped saying your thank-you message. This thank-you video will be played at commencement and the reception immediately following. Last year's tribute video can be found above.
Benefit to Students
Your gift of $20.09 will be used to support student scholarships at Michigan Tech. Specifically, it will go to the MTSF Endowed Scholarship Fund. This fund currently provides more than $10,000 annually in scholarship support for Tech students.
Participation Details
All students participating in the Class of '09 Tribute Gift Program take these steps:
- Make a minimum gift of $20.09
- Provide the names of whom you are choosing to recognize
Getting Started
Go to the online participation form. Once this is completed and submitted, you will be contacted with dates/times for videotaping your message of thanks.
