Biography

Our world is in a state of flux with climate change, habitat loss, and human disturbance.  I am interested in how these landscape changes affect wildlife populations and how we can improve or restore landscapes for the overall health of both wildlife and human populations. My research uses a variety of research methods including genetics, camera trapping, harvest data, and spatial analyses.

I also involve undergraduate students and the general public in my work through coursework, outreach, and citizen science projects.
