Criteria: Merit and need based scholarship awarded to new incoming first year undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens.
How to apply: Students must apply and be accepted for admissions and have completed a FAFSA. Applicants must have taken the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test finalists and list Michigan Tech as their first choice university with the National Merit Corporation.
Value: variable from $1,000 to $2,000 depending on financial need.
