When Bret was looking at universities to attend, he knew he liked the feel of campus and the area, but financial aid was just as important in his decision to attend Michigan Tech. Due to his hard work in high school, Bret was offered several scholarships which made a four-year degree a reality. "The scholarships reduced the burden of worrying about tuition bills each semester," said Bret.
The staff of the Financial Aid office was also helpful in Bret's experience. "They provided direction and answered any of my questions. I chose to do some really cool things at Michigan Tech which made me stay enrolled a little longer than some of my scholarships allowed. The Financial Aid office was able to help me find aid through other scholarships and loans."
