9.6.5 Identification Cards

As part of the new-hire process, Human Resources will provide you with a Staff Verification Form that you will need to bring with you when you get your HuskyCard. Bring the form and photo identification (such as a driver's license or passport) to the Technical Assistance Center (TAC), located on the first floor of the J. R. Van Pelt and John and Ruanne Opie Library, to have your picture taken and your ID card printed. There is no charge for the first card.

Deleted the following: "With the ID card, you can: - Borrow items from the Van Pelt and Opie Library. - Set up a debit account to make purchases in retail dining locations, the Campus Bookstore and University Images, campus event ticketing locations, at photocopiers in the Van Pelt and Opie Library, and other areas on campus. - Use it to eat in the residential cafeterias after purchasing a meal plan. - Gain access to parking lots and buildings designated by Transportation Services. - Access the Student Development Complex (SDC) facilities after purchasing a membership. If you lose your ID card, notify Public Safety and Police Services or report it lost online at www.techexpress.mtu.edu immediately. There is a charge for replacement ID cards."

The sentence that read: "Gain access to parking lots and buildings designated by Public Safety and Police Services" now reads "Gain access to parking lots and buildings designated by Transportation Services".
