9.6.3 Memorial Union

9.6.3.1 Meeting Rooms, Conferences, and Catering

The Memorial Union provides facilities and catering for events ranging from small, intimate meetings to large parties and conferences. The Memorial Union has a spacious ballroom as well as smaller meeting rooms. The total capacity at the Memorial Union exceeds 1,000 persons, and the ballroom can accommodate banquets for up to 450 attendees. Central air conditioning in the ballroom ensures guests' comfort, and the attractive decor compliments any event. A variety of audio and visual equipment is available.

The Memorial Union has four guest rooms, located on the second floor. These rooms are perfect for visitors as they are convenient to campus and the rest of the Keweenaw. University departments and conference groups may want to consider day usage of a guest room or suite to use as a caucus room, small meeting room, or for a guest or lecturer to relax and freshen up between appointments.
