There is no mandatory retirement age. Any employee may elect to retire at any time subject to applicable regulations and rates of retirement pay established by the retirement system.
To be eligible for Michigan Tech's retiree health care, employees must be at least 60 years of age and their years of service and age must be equal to or greater than 80.
