University Preparation Program
The University Preparation Program prepares students for university studies in STEM fields and other disciplines with a specifically tailored program for IESL students. Students benefit from interaction with peers and individualized attention from highly qualified instructors.
This program helps students to develop their academic English reading, speaking, and listening skills. They will improve vocabulary and professional communication. Students also prepare important materials for undergraduate admissions including their college application and essay, TOEFL preparation, and be given the actual TOEFL exam.
Students can also choose to spend one week in a hands-on pre-college exploration during the Summer Youth Programs on Michigan Tech's campus. These programs are all focused on STEM - science, technology, engineering, and math.
