Complaint Guideline Grids

The "Faculty, Staff, and Visitors" and "Students" tables below provide an overview of possible complaints and direct complainants to the appropriate recipient of the complaint.  The grids below are available in PDF format on the Complaint Procedures web page.

Definitions of Confidential and Private Resources:

Confidential Resource - Details of the complaint/incident are kept confidential. These resources are not required to tell anyone your private, personally identifiable information unless there is significant cause for fear for your safety or the safety of others.

Private Resource - These resources are those from who you can expect to have complaints/incidents to be taken seriously and to have those complaints/incidents investigated and properly resolved. This means only people who need to know will be told and information will be shared only as necessary. Those needing to know include the person(s) you are filing the complaint against, witnesses, and investigating officials from the University or outside the University.
