Strategic Faculty Hiring Initiative
Interdisciplinary programs are redefining graduate and undergraduate education at Michigan Tech. To strengthen these programs, several new faculty positions are created each year through an effort called the Strategic Faculty Hiring Initiative, or SFHI.

- 2009 and 2010: Next Generation Energy Systems; Health (Basic sciences, Technologies, and Medical Informatics)
