Adobe Connect

Web conferencing software used for synchronous presentations, online training, Faculty office hours, group collaborations, and more.

Canvas Learning Management System

The campus learning management system providing extensive course management and delivery of course materials for face-to-face, blended, and fully online courses.  Canvas integrates with university student information systems and authentication protocols. 

iClicker

A personal response system that allows students to instantly provide feedback and answer questions posed by instructors in their classes.

iTunes U

A service created to manage, distribute, and provide access to educational audio and video content for students at Michigan Tech or anywhere else through the free iTunes application.

Turnitin

A software service, integrated with the Canvas learning management system, that analyzes submitted papers for originality and proper citation methods. Get started with Turnitin here.

Videoconferencing

 IP-based  videoconferencing (H.323) using dedicated hardware that provides live audio-visual communication in Library 243.
