The Annual Gala Latina is an event presented by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) since 2005. It is the only event held on campus that features a live Latin band—the perfect way to salsa the night away!
From 2006 to 2011, Sergio Puventud and his Orquestra from Milwaukee, Wisc., provided quality music and entertainment to the campus and the community. In 2012, SHPE brought DJ Willie and the Salsabrosa Dance Company, who provided a night of entertainment for attendees.
