National Society of Black Engineers
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is dedicated to the academic and professional success of African-American engineering students and professionals. NSBE offers its members leadership training, professional development, mentoring opportunities, career placement services, and more.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers was established to:
- increase the recruitment, retention, and professional development of Hispanic/Latino science, math, engineering, and technology students at Michigan Tech;
- to promote the advancement of Hispanic/Latino engineers and scientists in employment and education; and
- to develop and participate in programs with industry and the University that benefit students seeking technical degrees.

Keweenaw Pride
Keweenaw Pride (KP) is Michigan Tech’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight ally (GLBTA) organization. KP creates a safe place for those in need of support, provides educational presentations and forums for the campus community, participates in national awareness events such as Coming Out Day and Day of Silence, and hosts social events throughout the year to promote a "queer positive" atmosphere on campus.

Women’s Outreach Programming
Women’s outreach programming at Michigan Tech works to:
- promote the personal and professional development of female students,
- provide opportunities for leadership development, and
- enable community building and peer support.
Women’s outreach includes initiatives such as:
- the Young Women Leaders Program, which pairs Michigan Tech undergraduates with local middle-school girls for a semester-long mentoring program that focuses on leadership skills;
- the Women’s Programming Committee, which plans events (including Women’s Month and monthly Women’s Film Series screenings); and
- the Women’s Leadership Council, a student organization that works to cultivate leadership skills and provide a positive campus climate for females at Michigan Tech.

Outreach and Multi-Ethnic (OME) Programming
This general fund account supports programs, initiatives, and events offered by the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, which includes cultural events, guest speakers, student leadership retreats, cultural competency training, and support for student conference travel.
