Students from more than 50 universities around the world have enrolled at Michigan Tech to join these efforts
Gender is nearly balanced in these programs with 49.8% of D80 students being women. This is more than double the Michigan Tech average (24.4%).
Faculty
The D80 programs were created through the visionary work of several faculty in engineering. Grassroots energy from students, staff, and faculty have transformed the vision to overwhelming successes, spreading from engineering through humanities, social sciences, physical sciences, and business. A truly university-wide culture focusing on Design That Matters now exists.
