Half Way Through Spring Semester
Alright, we students have made it half way through. This week began the start of Term B for the spring semester at Michigan Tech and even though the first seven weeks have seemed rough, there were some parts that were good. This article is mainly to inform parents of the upcoming events for the remainder of the school year as the next seven weeks progress until finals come.
As many of you already know, Spring Break official begins on Friday, March 7 at 10 p.m. Whether your student is coming home to pay a visit, going somewhere for a well needed vacation, or staying at Michigan Tech for the week I hope that they have a good time and get a good amount of rest and relaxation in before it is time to resume classes again.
During the Spring Break there is an exciting activity taking place for students of Michigan Tech to check out. The Clean Snowmobile Challenge enterprise team will be competing in the annual SAE Clean Snowmobile Challenge that takes place every year in Houghton. The events start on Monday, March 10 and continue up until March 15. For anyone who is staying in the area it will be a great opportunity to see the work that the Clean Snowmobile Team has done for this year's competition. Best of luck to those involved! For more information about the Clean Snowmobile Challenge Enterprise check out their homepage as well as the website for SAE which will talk about this year's events.
