Description of Instructional Innovation Activities
The Fredrick D. Williams Instructional Innovation Award is intended to recognize the exceptional efforts of faculty members who have made extraordinary contributions to the development of the instructional mission of the University in the design, or redesign, of one or more of its educational offerings. The Evaluation Committee recognizes and values the efforts of faculty members in 1) developing new and innovative approaches to instruction and/or in 2) identifying, adapting, implementing, and assessing instructional innovations developed by other educators.
Nominations should include a comprehensive description of the contribution made by the nominee that specifically demonstrates how their effort represents an extraordinary contribution to developing Michigan Tech's instructional mission. Nominators may also include documentation provided by the nominee showing the positive effects of the effort to support the nomination.
