Biography

James Walker received a B.S. in Information Technology from Franklin University in 2009, an M.S. in Computer Science from Michigan Technological University in 2013, and a Ph.D in Computer Science from Michigan Technological University in 2017. He also worked as a software development intern at Thermoanalytics Inc. in 2016, where he contributed to the development of a thermal simulation module for automotive exhaust systems.

His research has spanned diverse fields including virtual reality, computer security, and robotics simulation. Currently, he is working on an application for analyzing and visualizing runs of C programs to help educate students in the security considerations of writing software in C.
