Biography
Lisa Meyer, FNP, MSN is the family nurse practitioner for Counseling Services. Lisa meets with students who are interested in discussing or obtaining prescription medications, as well as with students interested in discussing other wellness or health-related concerns. Lisa earned her BS in Nursing at Northern Michigan University and her MS in Nursing, as well as her Family Nurse Practitioner credentials at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. A native of Redridge, Lisa attended Michigan Tech for two years prior to transferring to NMU. Lisa has worked in the past as a Registered Nurse and currently works as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and in the Emergency Department at Portage Health.
