Emergencies

If you have any concerns about serious health or safety issues please call 911 immediately.

During normal working hours:

If you experience a personal emergency Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM call 487-2538 and request an emergency appointment, or simply walk into the office on the 3^rd floor of the Administration and Student Services Building.  A counselor will see you as soon as possible.

During weekends or evenings:

If you experience a personal emergency over the weekend or during the evening when the office on the 3^rd floor of the Administration Building is closed, please call Public Safety at 487-2216 and they will contact the counselor on-call.

When Medical Attention is necessary:

In extreme cases that involve medical care as well as counseling attention, go immediately to the Portage Health System Emergency Department in Hancock (their telephone number is 483-1111) or go to the  Aspirus Keweenaw Emergency Department in Laurium (their telephone number is 337-6500).
