Education and Training Programs

Staying well-educated in today's business environment is a significant challenge for corporate leaders. Companies can engage the depth of educational resources at MTU in several different ways, both on campus and at the worksite.

Michigan Tech offers fully accredited engineering and technology degrees and certificates through a flexible distance education program. These programs can be designed to meet the specific needs of individual and corporate clients. MTU meets these needs not by designing distance education degrees, but by designing access mechanisms that integrate the place-bound student into the university-based population. The education that current students receive also produces value for the companies who will ultimately hire them.

Cooperative education provides educational value to the students and productive value for the corporations and can be a good way for companies and prospective full-time hires to be introduced. The links below provide information about both distance and on-campus programs at the undergraduate and graduate level.
