Michigan Tech has a network of mentoring programs in place to offer support to new students so that they may create a successful college experience. COMPASS is working to redesign the structure of our mentoring programs, but the following programs are available on campus to assist you.
Individual Assistance
The COMPASS staff is available to provide assistance to any first-year student who has academic or personal concerns. You may contact us at 906-487-3558, or at compass@mtu.edu. You are also welcome to stop by our office, which is located on the ground floor of Wadsworth Hall, Room G28W.
Alumni Mentors
Alumni Relations at Michigan Tech has started an alumni mentoring program. Alumni may sign up to be a mentor and students may sign up to be mentored. More information is available at Alumni Relations Mentoring.
