American Society of Civil Engineers

Established to afford an opportunity for civil engineering students to become acquainted with one another and to practice effective teamwork, the Michigan Tech chapter promotes a spirit of congeniality and provides a friendly point of contact for the engineering profession.

Chi Epsilon

This national honor society, established to maintain and promote the status of civil engineering as an ideal profession, recognizes the characteristics of the individual civil engineer deemed to be fundamental to the successful pursuit of an engineering career.

Concrete CanoeConcrete Canoe

This organization utilizes engineering skills, problem solving, and teamwork to design, fabricate, and construct a full size canoe out of concrete and compete against universities nationwide.

Engineers Without Borders

Engineers Without Borders is a service-learning organization that partners with disadvantaged communities to improve quality of life through the implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects, while fostering internationally responsible engineers and engineering students.

Green Campus EnterpriseGreen Campus Enterprise

Green Campus Enterprise is an organization of students working to make the Michigan Tech campus more sustainable through both low and high profile projects. We are collaborating with University personnel on many of our projects and gaining professional experience and leadership skills.

Society for Environmental Engineering

Established to promote environmental engineering as a unique and viable curriculum and profession, the Michigan Tech chapter discusses current and new technologies in the field, encourages interdisciplinary exchange, and keeps the University community updated on the needs of environmental engineering students.

Students for Environmental Sustainability

Students for Environmental Sustainability (SfES) serves as a resource organization for the Michigan Tech campus and provides environmental sustainability outreach to both the campus and local communities. SfES has the following two main objectives: (1) coordinate Earth Week events annually at Michigan Tech for campus and community members and (2) plan and execute any additional activities pertaining to environmental sustainability, as decided annually by the current membership.
