Bernie D. Alkire

Dr. Alkire's research interests include the effects of cold weather on performance of transportation materials as well as geophysical methods applied to transportation problems. He is also the Director of Transportation, Technology Transfer Center, and is involved with technology transfer for local and tribal governments. Dr. Alkire is the Chairman, Executive Committee, Technical Council of Cold Regions Engineering, American Society of Civil Engineering.
