Mr. William C. Verrette, a 1961 civil engineering graduate of Michigan Tech, is President of Champion Incorporated. Bill is also Chairman of the Board of Herman Gundlach, Inc. of Houghton, MI, and of Charter, Inc. of Ishpeming, MI.
Mr. Verrette is a National Director of the Associated General Contractors of America and a past president of the Michigan Chapter of the Associated General Contractors. He is a past chair of the MTU Board of Control and is currently a member of the Michigan Tech Fund Board of Trustees and a member of the President's Club and the Second Century Society. He is also an honorary member of Chi Epsilon and Sigma Lambda Chi, the National Construction Honor Society. He has an outstanding record of civic service, being a member of numerous professional clubs, societies, and organizations.
