Mr. Paul R. Liimatta, a 1961 civil engineering graduate of Michigan Tech, is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and principal owner of IGM, an interstate gas marketing company, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Upon graduation, Paul joined Columbia Gas and rose through the ranks to become Vice President for Propane Marketing. He was elected to the Gas Industry's prestigious Hall of Flame and was a former director for the Ohio Propane Gas Association.
Mr. Liimatta is a registered professional engineer in Ohio. As an alumnus of Michigan Tech, he is a member of the President's Club and Second Century Society and has served as a Trustee for the Michigan Tech Fund.
