Escape Room

“Career Services' Escape Room was a great way to improve skills outside of the classroom. It was also fun!”

Escape rooms challenge participants to solve puzzles, find clues, crack codes, and open locked boxes—all in a limited amount of time. Because students spend so much time in lectures, labs, and workshops, Career Services took a creative approach to career education: they engineered an escape room.

Inside the 10 x 10-foot room, teams of two to five students had 45 minutes to escape. During the challenge, students employed the skills recruiters look for—teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication--and were asked to evaluate their skills when the challenge was over.

Currently the escape room is not available. Check back later for updated information.
