The operations and systems management program teaches supply chain management, project management, and quality management methodologies and tools, as well as fundamental operations management techniques such as forecasting and quantitative decision making. Using techniques like the six sigma methodology will provide you with a strong groundwork for examining processes designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and systems used in industry.
Our curriculum includes the unique Business Development Experience, which give our students the practical knowledge to succeed. The School of Business and Economics from Michigan Tech is the only institution that requires students to participate in the Business Development Experience in order to fulfill their degree requirements.
