Entrepreneurship is continuously a contributor to economic growth. At the School of Business and Economics, we view that its full potential is to be realized through combining research and teaching. Our faculty engage in rigorous research to first observe critical factors that either enable or hinder the entrepreneurial process. They then utilize their findings to construct a more practice-oriented and training-based entrepreneurship curriculum. While training through experiential learning remains invaluable, we also ensure that our students are being trained in what is contemporary and ultimate leads to success for students, faculty, the School, and Michigan Tech.
