Get Involved with APMP

Prospective Students

APMP annually selects up to twelve students with demonstrated aptitude and leadership skills in the area of Finance and Financial economic theory, to manage the portfolio over the next academic year.

Students entering the program create a new investment management firm for the performance period beginning the first day of class through their last presentation to the board.  The program provides students with a forum to develop their academic and interpersonal skills and to become highly successful investment professionals.  In addition, participants derive enormous benefit and support from an on-going interaction with alumni and Advisory Board members, who currently maintain high visibility positions.

The participants of the program are selected through a rigorous testing and interview process.

Important Criteria for Selection

  • The individual's academic background,
  • Propensity for innovative thinking,
  • A strong desire to pursue a career in investment management.
