Biography

Most recently, Dr. R. Eugene Klippel retired as the Founding Dean of the College of Management at the University of Wisconsin- Stout. He has also served as Dean, College of Business, University of Southern Indiana (USI), from July 2003 to August 2005. Prior to his Deanship at USI, Dr. Klippel served as Dean of the School of Business and Economics and Professor of Marketing at Michigan Technological University from 1994 until July 2001. There he successfully led the School of Business to accreditation by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business - International). Before joining Michigan Tech in 1994, he was a member of the faculty in the College of Business Administration at West Virginia University where he was designated as Distinguished Professor and holder of the Kmart Chair in Marketing.

He also has held faculty appointments at the University of Florida, University of South Florida, Grand Valley State University, and the Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Dr. Klippel is highly regarded for his research and scholarship in the field of marketing. Further, he has served as a member of the editorial review board of the Journal of Marketing and the Journal of Marketing Management.
