Course Schedule

The 36-credit Tech MBA focuses on innovation and technology management. Corporate social responsibility, ethics, and legal issues are integrated throughout the curriculum. Click the schedule to see a larger version or view the course descriptions.

Students admitted in the Michigan Tech on-campus MBA program are not permitted to take Tech MBA Online courses. Students who want to take on-campus MBA courses under senior rule must first be admitted to the program.

The Tech MBA is structured so that students entering  in the fall semester can complete the program in three (3) consecutive semesters (fall, spring, summer) by taking four (4) required courses each semester (12 credits). Due to course offerings and prerequisites, students who deviate from this one-year schedule will need additional time to complete the program requirements.

The 12 required courses and prerequisites (in parentheses) are listed by semester in the course schedule image below.

Innovation and Technology Management

Managing Innovation and Technology provides a strategic framework for identifying and exploiting opportunities emerging from the evolution of technology. Together, these courses provide a foundation for success in emerging industries, high-velocity environments, and traditional businesses facing discontinuous change.
