Biomedical Engineering Society
The Michigan Tech chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society promotes unity, knowledge, and networking within the biomedical engineering community at the University. The mission of the chapter is to encourage students to build relationships with each other and faculty, as well as to provide opportunities for expanding student awareness of biomedical research, breakthroughs, and biotech career paths. The chapter hosts social activities, guest and faculty lectures, community outreach events, and other activities.
Society of Clinical Laboratory Scientists
The Society of Clinical Laboratory Scientists was established to encourage professionalism, high standards of scholarship, and an understanding of the responsibilities and demands of the medical technology profession; to act as a service organization to the local and campus communities; and to acquaint the general public with the profession.
