Creating the Future
Auxiliary Services departments employ students, temporary and seasonal employees, and both represented and non-represented staff who all work in a variety of capacities. Our employees are essential to creating the high quality of life enjoyed by our campus community. If you are interested in working for Auxiliary Services, please see below for more information.
Working for Auxiliary Services as a student employee provides you with a flexible and convenient schedule, plus the opportunity to gain excellent work experience during your time at Michigan Tech. Visit the Career Center's HuskyJOBS site to apply for open student positions in Auxiliary Services - all our student employment jobs are posted here.
Auxiliary Services employs staff from all three unions represented at Michigan Tech (UAW, AFSCME, and POA), as well as non-represented staff. All positions are posted in accordance with Michigan Tech's policy on the Human Resources Employment Opportunities page. To apply for staff positions, please check out the position openings and follow the instructions from Human Resources.
Temporary or Seasonal Employees
Many of our departments hire temporary or seasonal employees at various times throughout the year. If you are interested in temporary employment opportunities in any of our departments, please contact the department directly to inquire about potential opportunities. Applications for temporary employment across campus are available on the Human Resources website.
Some of our departments rely on volunteers to help provide quality service to faculty, staff, students, and the surrounding community. The Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts, for instance, uses volunteers as ushers during performances. If you are interested in volunteering at the Rozsa Center, or any of our other departments, please contact the department directly.
