The Alumni Way project includes the Husky Statue Plaza in the heart of campus—Rovano Plaza adjacent to the Library Café—and the recently dedicated William J. Bernard Jr. Family Clock Tower located between the Memorial Union and the R.L. Smith MEEM buildings.

Giving Opportunities

The Alumni Way project incorporates benches, plaques, and pavers surrounding the Husky Statue and the Clock Tower to provide a community gathering place for Michigan Tech Huskies. Several gifts have already been made as a part of the Alumni Way project.

Stone Benches

Husky Stone Bench

Purchase a stone bench with a personalized plaque for a gift of $25,000. Benches are available surrounding the Husky statue and clock tower.


Value Plaques

Husky Value Plaque

Purchase a Michigan Tech value plaque located on the inner circle bench at the base of the clock tower for a gift of $15,000.

Future Plans

Alumni Way Arch

The construction of the Alumni Gateway at the west end of campus is scheduled to take place in the summer and fall of 2023, which will include the installation of a Gateway Arch near the Alumni House and engraved pavers surrounding the base of the arch. The boulevard will be accented by benches, seat walls, and landscaping.
