Christine received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with honors, in 1982 from Michigan Technological University. She has held numerous engineering positions, including Project Engineer for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Project Manager for HNTB Corporation, Assistant Department Manager-Transportation for Graef, Anhalt, Schloemer & Associates, Department Manager – Transportation Engineering for Vierbicher Associates, Inc., and WSPE Interim Executive Director. Currently, Christine is the owner of Copper Creek, an engineering and public relations consulting firm. She currently serves as the Qualifications Based Selection Program Facilitator for Wisconsin. She was awarded the Young Engineer of the Year Award from the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers. Christine currently holds the position of Vice President of the National Society of Professional Engineers, in charge of national legislative and government affairs efforts. Her community activities include the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, board of directors for the Women in Engineering Program, and County Board Supervisor (elected) for Sauk County. Christine is married to a 1976 Michigan Tech graduate, has two children and one grandchild.
