Michigan Tech Scholarships: The Alumni Legacy Awards
Established to honor alumni, and in support of the worldwide network of proud Michigan Tech graduates, these Legacy Awards provide a unique opportunity for alumni and their children and grandchildren to significantly benefit through their life-long relationships with the Michigan Tech family.
Non-Michigan residents: the University automatically grants this award to all accepted, non-Michigan applicants who are the children or grandchildren of Michigan Tech alumni.
Value: equal to the difference between nonresident and resident tuition for a maximum of ten semesters.
Michigan residents: the University automatically grants this award to all new incoming first year undergraduate students who are the children or grandchildren of Michigan Tech alumni.
Value: $1000 total award, $250 per year for a maximum of four years (8 Semesters).
How to Apply: Students who have applied and been accepted for admission and indicated their parent or grandparent are an alumni are automatically considered for these awards.
