KILLER ELITE

KILLER ELITE (R for all the usual issues involved in such action flicks: excessive violence, profanity, sexual situations, etc.):  Another Jason Statham vehicle in which he continues satisfying audiences in love with tough-guys, violence, & mayhem at top speed & volume.  It also features big names, like Clive Owen & Robert De Niro, and it is also based on a "shocking true story."    We find Stratham & De Niro, long-time friends, pitted against a cunning leader (Owen) of a secret military society in a 100-minute dangerous cat & mouse game that takes them around the world, from one exotic setting to another.  Written by Gary McKendry & adequately directed by him, it will satisfy lovers of any action flick in top gear.  (Grade: C-)
