Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (C+)

For an hour and a half we meet our old friends of the ice age once again - good ole Sid the sloth, still the optimist, ever trying to cheer & help everyone; Manny & Ellie, about to become mammoth parents; saber-toothed Diego, more friendly & helpful than usual; and the ubiquitous pair of squirrels still alternating between love bouts & competition for that giant acorn.

This time they plunge into a heavily forested jungle (don't ask; the film takes tremendous leaps from reality) where they encounter, this time, ferocious dinosaurs before returning to their frozen habitat and a possible 4th in the series.

For adults it will be "ho-hum." For the kids, the wild action, the leaps from one computer generated episodic situation to another, and the Disney-type cuteness, all will suffice.
