Disney Studios have turned out this boring mix of live action & CG critters. The plot is generic espionage stuff: the government uses the furry little guinea pigs to prevent a despot from taking over the world - or something like that. With a flimsy plot and no really interesting characters, producer Jerry Buckheimer along with director Hoyt Yeatman resort to all they've got: a lot of noisy action that moves so rapidly you can barely keep up with it. A terrible waste of voice talent: Nicholas Cage, Penelope Cruz, Steve Buscemi, etc. Parents & kids, beware, a solid waste of 90-minutes.
