What to Bring
Compile the following REQUIRED documents BEFORE arriving in Houghton:
- Original birth certificate
- Original Social Security card
- ACT/SAT scores
- AFROTC Form 28. Have your personal physician complete this form.
Program Retention
- Physical Fitness Test
- Push-ups
- Sit-ups
- 1.5-mile run
- Meet AF height/weight standards
- Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT)
- Standardized test similar to the SAT and the ACT
- Measures aptitudes
- Pass Department of Defense military entrance physical
- GPA: 3.00 needed to be competitive
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 required for cadets on scholarship, 2.0 for ROTC program
