The staff consistently addresses the issue of student safety and regularly reviews its safety policies and communications. A Safety First Alert communication service allows the University to send emergency and time-sensitive notifications via voice, email, and text message. This service enhances emergency preparedness and keeps the campus community better informed.
Emergency telephones are situated in strategic locations around campus and are available twenty-four hours a day, with calls going directly to Department of Public Safety and Police Services.
